TAMOROT – The operation to rescue a toddler from a hole several meters deep in the north of Morocco is increasingly turning into a race against time. More than 48 hours have now passed since 5-year-old Rayan fell into the dry well of more than 30 meters and was possibly injured in the process. His fate keeps the whole North African country in suspense. The Moroccan government said it sympathized with the parents.
