The focus of the revelations focuses on Mikeal Glenn Stine, an death-suffering inmate and presumed leader of the neo-Nazi gang Aryan Brotherhood in prison. In an affidavit, he accused prison officers of offering him his premature release in return for the murder of R. Kelly. Supposedly, he was assured that he was laid according to the crime and ultimately “fleeing”.

According to Stine, the plan to kill Kelly was to be charged with the crime while the prison management should make the evidence disappear. He approached Kelly’s cell in March – but broke out at the last moment and unveiled the plan. Stine personally informed Kelly and agreed to testify in court and complete a lie detector test.

Further threat of murder after bursting attack

The unveiling had serious consequences: According to Kelly’s lawyers, another Aryan Brotherhood inmate was entrusted with the order to murder both Kelly and Stine after the burst attempted murder. The gang has numerous other members in prison, which further tightened the danger.

Kelly’s legal team now calls for his immediate release from custody – at least in the form of house arrest to protect his life. In addition, an application was submitted to the Supreme Court of the United States (US Supreme Court) in order to have the entire case checked again.
