Quirion experiences: Quirin Bank’s robo-advisor put to the test

That’s how much Quirion costs

At EUR 1,000, Quirion’s minimum investment is comparable to that of many other robo-advisors, and the asset manager scores with low management costs. You can invest EUR 10,000 free of charge for a year. After that, an administration fee of 0.48 percent per year applies in the regular package. If you want to change the strategy, this is free of charge once per calendar year, each additional strategy change costs 50 euros. The administration costs for the Comfort Package are slightly higher: Here you pay 0.68 percent per year. For the higher costs, however, you can change your investment strategy as often as you like throughout the year. The comfort package focuses on sustainability and you also have the option of saving for your retirement with the special retirement portfolio. How retirement provision works with Quirion is explained further down in the article.

The premium package costs 0.88 percent pa The services here are the same as the comfort package – there is also a personal advisor on top. Anyone who only wants to be advised irregularly can take advantage of hourly advice for a one-time fee of 150 euros.

Tip: A personal consultation is not absolutely necessary against the background of a passive investment, you can view all investments in your portfolio at any time. However, personal contact can provide information about opportunities and strategies, especially in bad times on the stock market, and in the worst case even calm your nerves. Decide for yourself whether the direct line to the investment specialist is worth the money.

No matter which investment package you choose, as with any robo advisor, there are additional fund costs. These are usually between 0.3 and 0.5 percent, Quirion calculates on its homepage at an average of 0.21 percent per year. The costs are automatically charged by the fund company and are not charged separately to your account.
