In just over an hour, a monstrous Carlitos Alcaraz sweeps Jiri Lehecka off the field and enters the quarter-finals of the Queen’s tournament, which could bring him back to number 1 in the world in case of victory. Success without appeal to Carlitos, who after having struggled in the first round with Rinderknech, has no problem with Lehecka, faced in an unprecedented match. It ends 6-2 6-3 for Alcaraz: the match immediately goes downhill for the Spaniard, who at the fourth break point directs the match to the opponent’s first service shift. The rest is academic leading up to the eighth game of the first set, where Carlos gets the second break and closes 6-2. In the second set the script is identical: Alcaraz immediately goes ahead 3-0 and keeps the break until the ninth game, taking the match home. Wait for the winner between Dimitrov and Cerundolo

the others

De Minaur, who is finding continuity on the grass, after easily taking out Murray, eliminates the Argentine Schwartzman without problems, with a double 6-2. For the Australian interesting quarterfinal against Mannarino, who surprisingly eliminated Taylor Fritz. Two consecutive breaks in the first set are enough for the Frenchman (he loses one between one game and another) to get the 6-4 which takes the match to the second set, won in the tie-break by Mannarino himself 9-7.
