Queen of Denmark Margaret decided last autumn to remove the royal titles from his four grandchildren. The decision concerned the queen’s youngest son Joachim’s children.
Joachim and his family did not accept the decision with a good heart, and the decision aroused anger among the citizens as well.

Joachim and his spouses have criticized the decision publicly – Joachim has said, for example, that he doesn’t understand how children’s identities can just be taken away like that.
Marie, on the other hand, has told how Athene’s daughter is bullied at school.
