Queen Elizabeth dedicated a special birthday message to her great-grandson, the future King of Britain, the prince, on Friday For George.
Prince George turned nine on Friday.
Elisabet shared a congratulatory message on her official Twitter account.
– Wishing Prince George a very happy 9th birthday, the Queen writes in the message.
There is a picture of George and Elizabeth on the balcony of Buckingham Palace in June, when Britain celebrated the 70th anniversary of the monarch’s reign.
In the picture, Elisabet and George are smiling and looking in each other’s direction.
The Queen also sent another message on Twitter, thanking the Buckingham Palace Guards Band for playing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Prince George.
The tweet shows a video of a military band’s performance in front of the palace.
