Qhe is almost 96 years old (he turns them on April 21st) and does not hear them. Sources at Buckingham Palace have made it known that Queen Elizabeth, who tested positive for Covid on February 20, has fully recovered. And to celebrate the occasion, last Sunday the queen left her castle in Windsor and got herself behind the wheel of her car to visit her grandchildren.

The sovereign drove alone the two kilometers that separate Windsor Castle from F.rogmore Cottage, the mansion – once occupied by Harry and Meghan – in whose gardens Elisabetta often takes her corgis for a walk. And waiting for the monarch and her beloved dogs were William, Kate and her children, as well as Beatrice and little Sienna.

In Frogmore, the Queen spent a few hours of a particularly sunny afternoon in the company of George, Charlotte and Louis, the great-grandchildren she hadn’t seen in quite a while. But Eugenia, who lives in the cottage with her husband Jack Brooksbank and son August, was not there.
And his absence arouses inevitable suspicions: does the princess by chance feel embarrassed for having recently shown all her support for cousins Harry and Meghan by visiting them in the US?

Over the past few weeks, after being tested positive at Covid like her son Carlo, daughter-in-law Camilla and several staff members in Windsor, the queen was forced to isolate herself and cancel several virtual engagements. At court, however, they immediately hastened to clarify that Elisabetta’s symptoms were very mild: the sovereign did not want to show herself in front of the cameras only because Covid had caused her a notable lowering of voice.
