Charles and Camilla were present, including taking part in the ‘royal procession’ that starts each race day. In addition to Charles and Camilla, many other British royals attended the horse races. For example, Princess Anne and her daughter Zara Tindall were there. Prince Edward and Countess Sophie, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edo also appeared at the event on the first day.
It is possible that Elizabeth will make her appearance later in the week at the five-day event, which will take place until June 18. Last year she did visit the famous horse races.
