Queen Elizabeth, 96, has changed her hairstyle over the years. The queen sees rare short hair in recent photos.

According to People magazine, the queen has been enjoying her curly hair for years, reaching as far as her ears or just above them. Now the queen has cut herself a shorter and summery hairstyle that can be seen in photos taken at Windsor Castle.

Based on the pictures, Elizabeth met the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welbyn on Tuesday and Wednesday he met with the new governor of South Wales Margaret Beazleyn. In both meetings, she fell in love with her new hairstyle.
