Footage shows the Queen arriving at the site in a Range Rover. The Queen seemed in good spirits and was photographed smiling broadly as she spoke to several of the attendees from the passenger seat.
The last time Elizabeth appeared in public was at the end of March, at the memorial service for Prince Philip. At the time, it was unclear whether Elizabeth would be present until just before the start of the service.
The Queen no longer appears in public because of her health. She struggles with mobility problems, among other things, which means she had to miss the opening of the British Parliament. She was then replaced by her son Prince Charles.
