According to a recent document, Queen Elizabeth is said to have given her approval for Harry to go to war, but she considered William’s departure to Afghanistan too big a risk.

The former head of the British army says in the documentary that he kept the conversations with the queen a secret. According to the queen, her grandchildren had to serve the commonwealth and do their duty with it.

– But he considered William’s going to war too big a risk. For Harry, that was considered acceptable.

Prince Harry served in Afghanistan in 2007-2008 and 2012-2013. Among other things, he worked as an Apache pilot. Prince William also worked in the army, but did not go to the battlefield. He belonged to the cavalry and flew a rescue helicopter.

William is next in line to the throne after his father, King Charles.

In the documentary series, it is suspected that Harry’s sense of detachment from other members of the royal family may be due to similar decisions. The name of the book “Deputy”has been speculated to also partly mean Harry’s sense of outsiderness.
