Quavo was aboard a yacht involved in an armed robbery

At first, the rapper was even arrested by the police.

US rapper Quavo was on board a luxury boat in Miami on Sunday (July 22) when two armed partygoers disrupted the boat because they did not want to leave the yacht but wanted to rob the captain. After the situation could be regulated by the police, they initially arrested the 32-year-old musician.

According to 7 News Miami, a local Florida television station, shortly after 10 p.m. local time on Sunday evening, there was a heavy police presence near The Wharf Miami. As the yacht owner later told 7 News Miami, he rented his luxury yacht for a party of 13 to 17 people. Two of the guests are said to have later threatened the captain and crew with weapons when they were asked to leave the boat. The perpetrators wanted to extend their time on the yacht and at the same time get their money for the tour reimbursed. They are said to have threatened the captain to “throw him overboard” and also took his mobile phone and wallet.

A crew member was able to secretly alert the police via text message before further riots could break out. So there were no injured people and Quavo got off lightly. What should be celebrated on the yacht and why it finally came to the scandal is unknown.

Quavious Marshall, as Quavo’s real name is, was finally even handcuffed by the police, as a video contribution from “TMZ” video shows. However, Quavo is said not to have participated in the drawing of the guns and was later released by the police. The former Migos member has not yet commented on the incident.
