After just one season together, the Indianapolis Colts from the National Football League (NFL) and quarterback Carson Wentz are apparently going their separate ways again.
According to consistent media reports, the Colts agreed on a swap deal with the Washington Commanders on Wednesday. Wentz is moving to the US capital, while Indianapolis will receive at least two second-round picks in return.
The quarterback roulette in the NFL keeps turning. According to media reports, after the contract extension of four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers (38) with the Green Bay Packers became known on Tuesday, the Denver Broncos secured the services of Russel Wilson (33) from the Seattle Seahawks a few hours later.
Washington is also said to have been in the running for the 2013 Super Bowl winner, but got nothing. Wentz was not able to convince in his only season in Indianapolis, the franchise gambled away the play-off place that was believed to be safe on the last day of the season by losing to the blatant outsiders Jacksonville Jaguars.
