Quarantine is reduced and canceled, but not for everyone

The resolution of Rospotrebnadzor on the reduction of quarantine for those who had contact with a patient with covid. If earlier it was necessary to self-isolate for two weeks, now there are several options.

Those who were vaccinated or had been ill more than six months ago will have to spend a week at home.

Those who are already in self-isolation will have to stay in quarantine for more than a week until the date specified in the decree.

Finally, those who have been vaccinated or recovered within the past six months may not need to quarantine at all. But provided that there are no signs of the disease.

Experts note that these measures will not affect the patients themselves. They will remain in isolation until they fully recover. As Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said earlier, this decision was made due to the fact that the incubation period of the Omicron and Delta strains does not exceed a week. At the same time, Rospotrebnadzor noted: reducing the period of self-isolation to seven days will not affect other quarantines. For example, in schools, if the class goes into quarantine because of the flu, and not because of the coronavirus.

Because of the “omicron”, the load on the hotline has increased several times. Calling “122” now you can quickly find out where to get vaccinated or revaccinated, how to get a QR code or which clinic to attach to. Help desks operate in all regions. Operators are assisted by artificial intelligence. What questions does the virtual assistant answer?
