I have had the second dose for 5 months and have been in close contact with a positive person at Covid, do I need to quarantine?
Yes. Those who have completed the primary vaccination cycle for more than 4 months, and have a valid green pass in their pocket, if asymptomatic, must quarantine. The duration of the latter, however, was reduced in this case from 7 to 5 days, provided that at the end of this period a molecular or antigenic test was performed with a negative result.
Who does the 10-day quarantine continue to apply to?
Nothing changes in the event of close contact with a positive for Covid for those who are not vaccinated or have still only taken the first dose (of the two planned) or have completed the
primary vaccination course for less than 14 days. For these people, the current quarantine measure provided for in the duration of 10 days from the last exposure to the case remains unchanged, at the end of which period a molecular or antigenic test is performed with a negative result.
What is meant by “close contacts”?

Are there specific rules for doctors and nurses?
Yes. Healthcare professionals must perform swabs on a daily basis up to the fifth day
from the last contact with an infected person.
I am positive for Covid, asymptomatic. And I have the booster. Does anything change in the rules on isolation?
Yes. For those who have received the booster or have completed the vaccination course for less than 120 days, the duration of isolation can be reduced from 10 to 7 days. Provided that the subject has always been asymptomatic, or has been asymptomatic for at least 3 days. It’s at
provided that, at the end of this period, a molecular or antigen test is performed with a negative result.
