Qstock headliners Limp Bizkit cancel their entire tour

Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst has been banned from performing by a doctor.

The American nu metal band Limp Bizkit is canceling its entire European tour, Qstock announces in a press release. Limp Bizkit was supposed to be the second main performer of the Oulu festival.

According to the band’s statement, the singer With Fred Durst have problems with their health. His doctor has advised him to stop gigging immediately.

– We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this is causing our loyal fans, promoters and staff, Limp Bizkit writes on Instagram. The band promises to inform more about it later.

Qstock Festival Director Mikko Forstén says in the announcement that a possible replacement is being sought “with a sweat in the hat”.

– We wish Fred Durst a speedy recovery, and our deepest apologies to everyone who had been waiting for Limp Bizkit’s performance, the press release says.

The sold-out Qstock will take place in Oulu on the 29th–30th. July. Two-day tickets are non-refundable due to Limp Bizkit’s performance, but customers who purchased a Saturday-only ticket can get their money back.

At the festival, among others, Haloo Helsinki!, Antti tuiskuBlind Channel and Behm and foreign performers Lukas Graham and Electric Callboy.

Limp Bizkit was supposed to tour during the late summer and early autumn in, for example, the Nordic countries, Central Europe and Britain. The band’s appearance at the legendary Wacken festival is also cancelled.
