Qmusic denies that Marieke Elsinga lied about the reason for her radio break. Yvonne Coldeweijer speculates that she may have participated in Wie is de Mol. “That is not true.”
Marieke Elsinga will be back next Monday: then she will return to the morning show of Qmusic after a radio break of a month and a half. She stopped to prevent a burnout and she says she succeeded. But is it quite true what the presenter says? Or is there something else going on here?

Juice queen Yvonne Coldeweijer speculates that Marieke may have joked a bit about her absence. “Didn’t Mariek just participate in Wie is de Mol or something? ?”, she speculates on her juice channel†
It wouldn’t surprise Yvonne. “When I was a candidate (2017), we were also gone for five weeks and the recordings were also in May… You have to hide for that entire period, even if you are out earlier. Otherwise, fanatic people can calculate how long you were in the program ?. I have no idea, I’m just saying it could be!”
‘This is not right’
Qmusic immediately puts an end to these speculations before it takes on a life of its own. “I can deny that!” says a spokesperson for the radio station.
It is also not very obvious that Marieke would have lied about her radio absence. After all, many people will not accept it if a Dutch celebrity fakes physical or mental complaints in order to disguise a participation in a TV program. And in this case certainly not Marieke’s loyal and concerned listeners.
