The Qatari national soccer team won a test match almost a month before the start of the World Cup in their own country (November 20th to December 18th).
In Malaga, Spain, the selection of coach Felix Sanchez won 2-0 (2-0) against Guatemala. The goals came from two penalties within two minutes.
As part of the friendly series, Qatar meets Honduras next Thursday, followed by Panama on 5 November. At the start of the World Cup, the hosts will meet Ecuador on November 20th in Al Khor.
