According to the AP news agency, a person familiar with the matter said that the latest bid from the head of one of Qatar’s largest banks was said to have been almost twice as high as Man United’s current market value of $3.2 billion. The British entrepreneur Ratcliffe, on the other hand, is said to be willing to accept a minority stake. According to “Sky Sports”, he will take over 25 percent of the “Red Devils” if an agreement is reached with the Glazer family.

Man United got off to a weak start in the 2023/24 Premier League season with four wins and four defeats. In the Champions League, coach Erik ten Hag’s team, which was strengthened for 207 million euros, is facing early elimination after the group phase after two bankruptcies.
