PVH appoints new head of communications

PVH Corporation has appointed Amber McCasland to the role of Chief Communications Officer.

McCasland will assume her new role effective April 6, the US apparel giant, which owns brands including Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, announced on Wednesday. She will lead PVH’s global internal and external communications strategy, reporting directly to CEO Stefan Larsson.

McCasland previously served as Vice President of Global Brand and Communications at US online marketplace Poshmark. Prior to that, she worked for trouser specialists Levi Strauss & Co. for ten years. Other positions included Gap, Inc. and Yahoo!.

“Amber has an impressive track record as an innovative leader in brand and corporate communications with international experience at the intersection of fashion, consumerism and technology,” said Larsson. “As we continue to implement the PVH+ plan and bring our Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands closer to consumers than ever before, Amber’s experience of working with iconic brands on a global scale will help bring our vision to life for all stakeholders awaken.”
