The US clothing group PVH Corporation has filled another key position at its Calvin Klein brand. On Wednesday, the company announced the appointment of Donald Kohler as President, Calvin Klein Americas. In this role, he will oversee all of the label’s business activities in the region.
Kohler will take up his new post on March 13 and will report directly to CEO Stefan Larsson, PVH said. Shortly before the turn of the year, the group had already introduced Eva Serrano as the new Global Brand President of Calvin Klein.
With Kohler, the group of companies hired an experienced fashion retail expert. Most recently, as CEO of Diesel in North America, he was responsible for the Italian brand’s activities in the region. Prior to that, he ran the American operations of fashion houses Salvatore Ferragamo and Burberry during a thirty-year career.
PVH CEO Stefan Larsson explained the personnel decision: “Donald has in-depth operational experience in key areas such as product, customer loyalty and the implementation of Omnichanel sales models,” said the CEO in a statement. “He will be a key partner to Eva Serrano and Calvin Klein’s global brand team going forward. They will work closely together to realize Calvin Klein’s full potential in America.”
