PVDA: “Under Vivaldi, wage earners lost more than 3,000 euros in gross purchasing power”

Over the past four years, wages have not been able to keep up with the rising cost of life, resulting in a decline in real wages. This is evident from calculations by the PVDA study service. According to the far-left party, a full-time employee with a median wage lost an average of more than 3,000 euros gross under the De Croo government. “What people have been feeling in their wallets for some time is now also reflected in our figures,” says PVDA chairman Raoul Hedebouw.
