PVDA heads to voters with 2 women in the lead

Natalie Eggermont from Kortrijk, a 35-year-old emergency doctor, is the West Flemish leader for the federal chamber at PVDA-PTB. Our country’s only unitary party has 20 MPs and wants to survey 100,000 compatriots in the coming months.

“We are a party that listens to the people and that wants to bring the voice of the people into parliament. Now we are going everywhere to ask people their thoughts on purchasing power, fair wages, fair taxes, affordable housing and so on” , says Natalie Eggermont, leader of the House of Representatives for PVDA.

The PVDA has never managed to reach the electoral threshold in West Flanders, but recent polls show around 10 percent of all votes. The radical left party would become bigger than Groen.

“We see that the PVDA is really making progress. People know us, follow us. We hear that in cafés, on the street, in the workplace. The other parties are busy grabbing and grabbing posts and we are busy with… where the people are losing sleep.”
