Jan Beugel (PvdA) has expressed his concerns to the college about the many farming families that were confronted with the nitrogen problem last week. The ‘nitrogen map’ as presented by the government also has consequences for the countryside in Central Drenthe.
Jan Beugel: “This has a huge impact on the welfare of farmers.” He wonders whether it is known how many farming families are involved and whether the municipality of Midden-Drenthe can offer support.
Beugel hopes to get answers in the half-hour questions of the city council next Thursday evening.
