Russia has stopped supplying gas to Poland and Bulgaria. This was announced by the Russian energy giant Gazprom. The Polish gas company PGNiG also confirmed that the gas tap was closed. Both Poland and Bulgaria claim that Moscow’s decision will not immediately lead to major problems. Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, also commented that Europe is “prepared” for an interruption in Russian gas supplies. But what is the impact on our country?
