Russian President Vladimir Putin has urged in telephone conversations with the presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan not to let the conflict between the two countries get out of hand. Putin, who himself is waging war in Ukraine, called on the leaders of the two former Soviet republics in Central Asia to sit down as soon as possible to end the border conflict.
