Putin traditionally delivers a message to the Federal Assembly in the first months of the year. Last year, the appeal took place on April 21.

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Putin would address parliament in early 2022, but added that there was no set date for the event. This year’s address will be Putin’s 18th during his tenure as president.
