Putin formed an interdepartmental commission of the Security Council on migration policy
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Medvedev will head a commission on improving migration policy. It will analyze the migration situation and identify threats to Russia’s national security in this area.

The new body will be headed by the deputy chairman of the Security Council (who is Dmitry Medvedev), his deputies will be one of the deputy prime ministers and an assistant to the president, who will oversee the activities of the Presidential Office to ensure the constitutional rights of citizens (on the Kremlin website specifiedthat this department is headed by Tatyana Lokatkina).
