Russian President Vladimir Putin has visited the devastated Ukrainian port city of Mariupol, according to the Kremlin. It is the first time since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine that Putin went to occupied territory in the neighboring country. Still, doubts arise about the ‘authenticity’ of his visit. “Putin has many lookalikes and the ‘grateful’ citizens were probably security guards in civilian clothes,” it sounds.
