The leaders of Russia and France discussed speculation about Russia’s “invasion” of Ukraine. According to the press service of the Kremlin, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed in a telephone conversation.
The heads of state continued to exchange views on guaranteeing security and overcoming the impasse in the intra-Ukrainian settlement.
Also, the topic of the conversation between Putin and Macron was the possible aggressive actions of the Ukrainian security forces in the Donbass – a large-scale pumping of Ukraine with Western-made weapons could become a prerequisite for this.
