The service took place in the Church of the Image of the Savior Not Made by Hands, which is the home of the church of the residence. The President attended the service in a suit without a tie, he came alone and put a candle in front of the icon of the Nativity of Christ, the agency reports.
His press secretary Dmitry Peskov spoke about the president’s plans to celebrate Christmas in the church in mid-December.
