Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (69) recently praised his “special relationship” with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin (70) in an exclusive interview with the American channel CNN. Ahead of the second round of voting in Turkey’s presidential election, Erdogan stressed that his country will not impose sanctions on Moscow, despite the war in Ukraine. “Russia and Turkey need each other in all areas,” he said.
