Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley has once again dealt against his former bandmates. This time his tips hit Paul Stanley. In one Interview with the Finnish “Chaoszine” He said he could sing and play guitar better than Stanley.
Planning changes at the last Kiss concert
The words came in a conversation with the hard rock band’s co-founder about Kiss’ final show in December. “I don’t know what happened six or seven or eight months ago when Paul and Gene [Simmons, Bassist – Anm. d. A.] “We were in the process of planning the ‘End Of The Road’ tour,” he said. “You have really nice things about Peter [Criss, ursprünglicher Schlagzeuger – Anm. d. A.] and Bruce [Kulick, Gitarrist von 1984 bis 1996 – Anm. d. A.] and said me. It said, ‘We called Ace and Peter, they’re going to join us on stage for a few final songs.’ It was about brotherhood and all that nonsense.”

But then the narrative changed: “Last month, when the show was sold out and they no longer needed us to sell tickets, Paul Stanley went on The Howard Stern Show and said, ‘If Ace and Peter are up with us “If we were on stage, you could call the band Piss,” Frehley recalled. “That was the exact opposite of what they said six or seven months earlier.” He himself decided at that moment to stay away from the last Kiss concert. “Even if they had invited me, I wouldn’t have gone after that kick below the belt.” Frehley continued: “I can easily put it in my pocket on the guitar. I can even sing better than him and don’t even need backing tracks.”
Ace Frehley is currently promoting his upcoming album “10,000 Volts”. It is his sixth solo album since leaving Kiss in 1982 and 2002. It will be released on February 23rd. He had already found great words for the album: “There are no fillers and no wasted space.”
