Put away the sunglasses: it’s going to be a cloudy week

The sunglasses can be put away after the sunny weekend, because it will be a cloudy week. However, according to NH weatherman Jan Visser, it will remain largely dry.

Despite the predicted cloudiness, it is a sunny month, according to Visser. There have already been 77 hours of sunshine, and normally this is 66. The weatherman tells the Breakfast Table on NH Radio that it is not surprising if it does not feel that way: “There is little sun in January.”

The day started sunny in a large part of the province, but towards the end of the morning it became cloudy. “It remains dry and the temperature rises to 8 to 9 degrees,” says Visser. “The wind is blowing from the south and it is weak to moderate in strength.”

Tomorrow morning it will be cloudy. “There may be a little drizzle, but most of the time it will be dry,” the weatherman continues. “It will also remain cloudy in the afternoon and there may be a little drizzle.” The temperature is around 9 to 10 degrees. There is a fairly strong southwest wind on the coast.

Little change

“There is actually not much change for the rest of the week,” says Visser. “A front will pass with rain during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, but otherwise the weather will be dry.” It is cloudy and the temperature is 8 to 9 degrees.

At the end of the week the temperature will be slightly higher again. “So we’re messing around a bit towards February 4, when the chances of rain increase.” Temperatures will drop early next week. “To values that are normal for this time of year, about 6 degrees.”
