The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that Ukrainian troops should leave the territory of the DPR and take out their weapons. He stated this on the air of the Solovyov Live YouTube channel.
“Now the question is what to do with the accumulation of equipment, personnel, weapons that are on the other side of the line of contact. <...> The best option is for them to leave the territory voluntarily, so that they take out weapons, ”he said (quoted from TASS).
Zelensky refuses to withdraw troops from Donbass
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Kiev would not consider the request of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics for the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territories controlled by the Ukrainian authorities in the Donbass.
“Who asked? We do not communicate with them. We do not understand who it is (representatives of the DNR and LNR. — RBC),” Zelensky said.
