A chase took place in West Friesland this evening. After a collision on the N194, the driver fled, after which a chase ensued and several vehicles were rammed.
After a collision on the N194, the motorist involved ignored the police stop sign and fled. This was followed by a lengthy 20-minute chase by Obdam.
Ultimately, the fleeing car was pinned down by the police on Dokter Lohmanstraat. There are several parked cars rammed.
The suspect has been arrested by the police and the road was closed to traffic. The police started an investigation.
