Puma North America Names Andrew Rudolph as Head of Wholesale Sales

The sporting goods provider Puma SE has strengthened its sales team in North America. On Friday, local subsidiary Puma North America announced the appointment of Andrew Rudolph as Senior Vice President, Wholesale. Rudolph will begin his new position on October 10, will be part of the Puma North America leadership team and will report directly to President Bob Philion, the company said.

According to his future employer, Rudolph has 30 years of experience in the shoe and sporting goods industry. Over the course of his career, he spent more than 20 years at Adidas and held various management positions in the US business. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Wholesale for US footwear retailer Cole Haan.

Rudolph’s future boss Philion has high hopes for the new hire: “Rudi’s unique mix of industry experience and sales leadership will be critical to our growth plans in North America,” he said in a statement. “His proven track record of leading teams and delivering outstanding business results, as well as his in-depth knowledge of the footwear and apparel market and our key customers, will play an important role in executing our future expansion strategies in the region.”
