Sports company Puma has announced that it will host a conference that will explore solutions for a more sustainable fashion industry.

The Conference of the People, scheduled to take place in London on September 6, aims to bring together activists, NGOs, experts, ambassadors and consumers to discuss various sustainability issues and possible solutions.

To mark the occasion, the company has set up a special online platform, pumacop.com, where more information about the event can be found and interested parties can register. The conference will also be broadcast live on the platform.

“We will focus on Gen Z during the event as we want to give this generation a voice when it comes to the decisions being made today to shape a more sustainable future,” said Bjørn Gulden, Puma CEO. in a message.

“At the United Nations they call it the Conference of the Parties, we call it the Conference of the People,” Gulden continued.
