Puma and Ottolinger are bringing back a classic of the big cat

Puma and Ottolinger are bringing back a classic of the big cat from Herzogenaurach. The collaboration between the Berlin label and the sportswear retailer was already teased at Paris Fashion Week in the spring, and now the first pictures are available.

The capsule collection is guided by “unabashed femininity that frees itself from the constraints of gender and other conventions,” Puma said on Monday. For the implementation, the collaboration partners dared to use a Puma classic, the Monstro.

The shoe retains the model’s characteristic sole, but is wrapped in chrome metal tones. The shoe is available both as a knee-high version, which combines straps to create a chunky silhouette, and as a mid-cut sneaker with wrap-around laces.

Also included is a handbag in patent leather with Puma x Ottolinger branding.

The capsule was available at a pop-up in the French capital for two days during Paris Fashion Week. It is now available online and at selected retailers.
