‘Pull your head out of your hairy ass’

Angela de Jong is incredibly irritated by the way in which Johan Derksen consistently downplays abuses in the media world. “Pull your head out of your hairy ass!”

It is now becoming so predictable that it is harmful to the format of Today Inside: when a serious abuse is discovered in the media world, Johan Derksen starts hugging the perpetrators very ostentatiously. So ostentatious that it now seems like a trick and that is why VI loses its shine. And Wilfred Genee? Stands there and looks at it.

Hairy ass

Johan has once again terribly insulted the victims and the women who stood up against WNL boss Bert Huisjes. This cannot continue, says opinion diva Angela de Jong A.D. “Bert Huisjes, Fons van Westerloo, Loek Hermans, but also Johan Derksen who of course went wild again on those ‘tutjes’ in Today Inside – they are all fathers.”

“Maybe that’s what I find saddest about (…) all those old bucks who stubbornly refuse to pull their heads out of their hairy asses. I always wonder if they would react differently if their own children were the target of a sexist bully stuck in the 1950s at work. Or do they simply not have an ounce of empathy?”

Exhaustingly insulting

Wilfred Takken, reviewer of NRC, thinks that Johan is behaving structurally unfairly. “It was not lost on Derksen that Huisjes’ alleged misconduct had sexist undertones. And he embraced that. The women who stood up against Huisjes were insulted exhaustively by Derksen.”

He continues: “He thought the alleged pregnancy discrimination at WNL was justified. The fact that women became pregnant was very annoying for an editor-in-chief. (…) You can also make transgressive behavior your revenue model.”

Boomer of the Nation

RTL 5 star Thijs Zeeman is starting to get a bit tired of Johan. “The Boomer of the Nation has spoken again. But dear Johan, more is simply expected from strong leadership today. Despotism is for fearful leaders. Really having an eye for others and daring to be vulnerable is what we are looking for now. Well doneMerel Ek.”

Investigative journalist Kim van Keken has to puke because of Johan. “’Do you want to employ a pregnant woman?’, says Johan Derksen about the culture of fear at WNL. Really, this old bag is so predictable.”

It’s a trick

Story boss Guido den Aantrekker states that Johan does not mean this, but does this for effect. Away from the cameras he is empathetic, he says X. “I know from Derksen at least that this is true outside the cameras. This is largely an act. Circus. Clickbait TV. And it works – we are talking about it here again. 😉”

Let’s not worry about Johan, says Guido. “Again, you don’t have to look. Better focus on the state broadcasters and their organizational blunder.”
