Discus thrower Kristin Pudenz again ensured a good German placement at the Diamond League meeting in Paris.
With a jump of 64.39 m, the Olympic silver medalist finished third. As last time, the Potsdamer only had to admit defeat to the Tokyo Olympic champion Valarie Allman (USA/68.68) and the Croatian double Olympic champion Sandra Perkovic (68.19).
Pudenz confirmed her last strong form almost a month before the World Championships in Eugene. At the previous Diamond League competitions in Eugene and Oslo, she had thrown the third best distance. On Saturday in Paris, Shanice Craft also took fourth place with 63.14 m.
