The Florentine fashion house Pucci will present its next collection on April 4th in Rome. The brand, known for its kaleidoscopic prints, will present the “Very Vivara” collection designed by artistic director Camille Miceli.
Miceli, who took over creative management of the LVMH-owned brand in 2021, has played a key role in guiding the traditional house back onto a modern path. Founded in Florence in 1947 by Emilio Pucci, the Marquis of Barsento, the brand has left an indelible mark on the fashion industry with its signature flowing fabrics, silk scarves and vibrant prints.
The Vivara print, Pucci’s signature pattern, was introduced by Emilio Pucci in 1965 and was inspired by the waves of the sea. He will also be the focus of the upcoming “Very Vivara” collection.
Pucci is considered a pioneer among European brands, having been among the first to adopt the American concept of sportswear – an ethos that focuses on the pursuit of comfort. Over time, this innovative approach, coupled with an innate appreciation for beauty and opulence, has left an indelible mark on the brand’s legacy.
Pucci’s enduring influence is embodied in the distinctive prints, which have not only earned Emilio Pucci the nickname “The Prince of Prints”, but also embody his unique combination of functionality, style and luxury.
