The bidding period for the broadcast tender of the Super League has ended. Trabzonspor and Clubs Union President Ahmet Ağaoğlu, who came before the members of the press, said, “It is our greatest desire that the broadcasting tender results in a figure that will make our clubs happy. If our financial problems are not resolved, it will be nothing more than a dream for Turkish football to reach the desired point. As the Association of Clubs, we hope that it will emerge from the tender process. The result will be a solution to the financial problems of our clubs, which depend on 80 percent of their income from broadcasting revenues.
TFF President Nihat Özdemir said, “I wish the broadcast tender to be concluded as soon as possible with the best offer and it will be beneficial for Turkish football.”
