Public prosecutor’s office keeps reconstruction of murder of Mariette C. (87)
On September 20 last year, the antique dealer killed his wife. He killed her with a hammer to the head after an argument got out of hand. The facts took place in the couple’s villa in Molstenstraat on De Ginste in Oostrozebeke. It was the perpetrator’s brother who discovered the drama when he came by with groceries. Emergency services rushed to the scene but were unable to save the woman.
“Good cooperation”
The reconstruction took two hours. According to Antoine Van Eeckhout, the man’s lawyer, his client cooperated well. He said that Aloïs has deteriorated both physically and psychologically since being in Merksplas prison. “Jail is no place for him,” he said. He previously advocated placing him in a residential care center.
No results have yet been announced from the prosecutor’s office. In the photo below you can see the brother of the suspect, Erik D. He came to take a look.
