Public prosecutor investigates hacking Limburg.net and warns: “Fine up to 800,000 euros”

Several people have filed a complaint against waste intermunicipal Limburg.net. They are victims of the large-scale data breach. The federal judicial police of Limburg is conducting an investigation. The Limburg public prosecutor’s office points to sanctions “up to a maximum prison sentence of three years and a fine of up to 800,000 euros”.
