Over three days, Camille Hennetier, Nicolas Braconnay and Nicolas Le Bris of the National Prosecutor’s Office for Counter-Terrorism (Pnat) will take turns to explain the exact role they believe each of the accused played. On Friday they will say what penalties they demand. A total of 20 accused are on trial, including Salah Abdeslam, the sole survivor of the Paris terror commando.
From 13 June, the defense will still have the floor. The verdict is expected on June 29.
130 people were killed in the attacks of 13 November 2015. The perpetrators carried out a massacre in the Bataclan concert hall and also attacked bars and restaurants. Three suicide bombers blew themselves up at the Stade de France during a friendly football match between France and Germany. The terrorist group IS claimed responsibility for the attacks.
