Psychologist attests Amber Heard personality disorder – and Johnny Depp goes viral

A TikTok video of Johnny Depp concentrating on his drawing during court hearing in Amber Heard’s defamation trial went viral on April 26. In addition, US radio host Howard Stern described Depp as a narcissist. The actor, in turn, went viral for making a drawing on a post-it in court.

Depp practices the art of drawing

The video shows Depp sitting in the courtroom next to his attorney Benjamin Chew and handing him a sketch on a post-it note. A woman appears to be pictured on the Post-it note. Finally, Depp’s lawyer pulls out his glasses to take a closer look at the drawing while the actor sitting next to him whispers something in his ear. After looking at the sketch, Depp’s attorney nods in agreement. But Depp didn’t leave it at that: Later, he returned to his sketch. This time he colored the figures purple and pink.

Fan having a great time

A TikTok fan who self-identified as “#TeamJohnny” posted the video on Tuesday. The clip then became an internet hit and was viewed more than four million times in less than 18 hours. In addition, in the viral TikTok clip, a person can be heard laughing and saying, “He’s proud of it. That’s great”.

Howard Stern verbally attacks Johnny Depp

In addition, Howard Stern recently commented on the ongoing trial on his radio show SiriusXM, saying he believes Johnny Depp exaggerated his testimony. He also criticized the actor and accused him of a form of self-love and egomania: “I think Johnny Depp is a huge narcissist,” Stern said, adding, “What do I mean by that? He thought to himself, ‘I’ll put this on TV and because I’m so persuasive and because I’m so smart, I’m such a wonderful guy’.” However, according to the presenter, both parties would eventually emerge from the mud fight as losers: “It’s going not good for you, it’s not going well for her. It’s not going well for anyone. You sound like two children arguing.”

Psychologist attests Heard a personality disorder

In addition, psychologist Shannon Curry, hired by Johnny Depp, testified in court that Amber Heard suffers from borderline personality disorder. In addition, she found no signs of post-traumatic stress disorder in the actress.

The finding is not a fact

The forensic psychologist told the court that after extensive testing, she diagnosed Heard with both borderline and histrionic personality disorders. Curry added that she believes Heard grossly exaggerated when asked about the symptoms of her post-traumatic stress disorder.

Curry also explained that she spent about 12 hours with Heard in preparation for the defamation trial. During that time, Heard completed several mental health tests. Curry added that she also reviewed Heard’s health records, documents, audio recordings, photos and videos. Based on the test results, Curry concludes that Heard carries a lot of internal hostility and is self-righteous, judgmental, and full of anger.

“These aren’t facts, but their results are consistent with other people who have had these results and who have been shown to have these very specific properties in many, many studies,” Curry said.

Fear of loss as a motivation

Manifestations of these disorders can include desperate attempts to avoid being abandoned, including resorting to legal methods such as alleging abuse, Curry said.

The psychologist also explained that the defining feature of borderline personality disorder is instability. This is revealed in a person’s relationships, feelings, behavior, self-image and identity. With Heard, she said, that instability is also driven by this underlying fear of abandonment.
