PSV will play in the semi-finals of the KNVB Cup against the amateurs of Spakenburg. The team of trainer Ruud van Nistelrooij drew an away game in Spakenburg. Feyenoord and Ajax meet in the other semi-final. That match will be played in Rotterdam.
The semi-final matches are scheduled for Tuesday, April 4, Wednesday, April 5 or Thursday, April 6.
PSV won 3-1 against ADO Den Haag in the quarterfinals last Thursday at home. Spakenburg eliminated an Eredivisie club for the second time: after FC Groningen, FC Utrecht had to believe it.
In October 2010, PSV and Spakenburg met in a cup match: the Eindhoven team then won 3-0 at home. It was a fourth round match.
