Attackers Thorgan Hazard and Fábio Silva and defender Jarrad Branthwaite will no longer play football for PSV next season. The people of Eindhoven rented the three players and that rental period will not be extended.
Branthwaite, who was hired from Everton, was a permanent fixture under the leadership of trainer Ruud van Nistelrooij who has since left. The 21-year-old central defender took part in 27 league games, most of them as a basic player.
Hazard and Silva came over from Borussia Dortmund and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively during the winter break. Silva was important in the cup final against Ajax. In the penalty shootout, the Portuguese made the winning penalty.
In addition to Branthwaite, Hazard and Silva, mercenary Sávio Moreira de Oliveira will also not return to PSV, which will start the season next Tuesday under the leadership of new head coach Peter Bosz.
