Rangers FC has tried in vain to postpone the kick-off of the away match against PSV in the play-offs of the preliminary rounds of the Champions League. The Scottish team arrived at the Philips Stadium later than planned because the players’ buses were held up. UEFA ignored the request, so the game started at 9 p.m. as scheduled. “You expect a club like PSV to arrange everything properly when it receives a club.”
Thousands of PSV supporters gathered around the Philips Stadium more than two hours before kick-off to wait for the players bus of their favorite club. They set off a lot of fireworks and then also targeted the Rangers busses when they arrived. “We love you Celtic, we do”, the Eindhoven supporters sang towards the Scottish team bus. Celtic is the arch-rival of Rangers.

Rangers FC trainer Giovanni van Bronckhorst was not at all pleased with the behavior of the PSV fans. “I’ve been involved in football for a number of years now, I’ve never experienced this,” he grumbled in front of the RTL 7 camera. but supporters around us.
